Bonriki Inundation Vulnerability Assessment - Oceanographic Data Acquisition

This record holds a report of the oceanographic campaign activities and oceanographic data acquired from the lagoon and reef environment surrounding that was undertaken in Kiribati, Tarawa Atoll, Bonriki as part of the coastal component of the Bonriki Inundation Vulnerability (BIVA) project conducted from 2013 to 2015.
Oceanographic data was collected within the Tarawa lagoon and reef on the ocean side of Bonriki.

The Bonriki Inundation Vulnerability Assessment (BIVA) project aimed to improve understanding of the vulnerability of the Bonriki freshwater reserve to coastal hazards and climate variability and change. Improved knowledge of risks to this freshwater resource will enable better adaptation planning by the Government of Kiribati.
