This record holds a report of the analysis of historical shoreline changes activities conducted using the Digital Shoreline Analysis System (DSAS) software that was undertaken in Kiribati, Tarawa Atoll, Bonriki as part of the coastal component of the Bonriki Inundation Vulnerability Project (BIVA) conducted from 2013 to 2015.
The BIVA project aimed to improve understanding of the vulnerability of the Bonriki freshwater reserve to coastal hazards and climate variability and change. Improved knowledge of risks to this freshwater resource will enable better adaptation planning by the Government of Kiribati.
This BIVA project was supported by the Pacific-Australia Climate Change Science Adaptation Planning (PACCSAP) programme.
