Climate Resilient Road Standards (CRRS) Project Phase 2: Vulnerability Mapping report

This report documents the vulnerability mapping undertaken as part of the Climate Resilient Road Standards Project in Vanuatu. It outlines both the methodology adopted and provides a summary of key outputs from this process.

Vulnerability mapping will be a continuous process for the Vanuatu Public Works Department (PWD). Vulnerability mapping, together with Climate Screening Tools developed as part of Climate Resilient Road Standards project have been significant achievements and critical components towards climate change mainstreaming inside PWD.

The report was developed under the Climate Resilient Road Standards (CRRS) Project. The CRRS was funded directly by a grant from the Australian Government (under the Pacific-Australia Climate Change Science and Adaptation Planning (PACCSAP) programme) to the Government of Vanuatu. It commenced in December 2013 and was completed in March 2015.
