NRM information management survey briefing

This two page briefing highlights the key findings of a survey which  aimed to identify key data and information management issues faced by climate change adaptation researchers. Intellectual property,  ethics, data management, and long-term storage and description of project outputs were identified as key issues. The briefing makes recommendations about how these data management issues should be addressed.

The survey was developed to support  to climate change adaptation researchers funded under the Australian Commonwealth Regional Natural Resource Management (NRM) Planning for Climate Change Fund to integrate best practice in climate change adaptation data and information management into their project activities. The survey canvassed information management procedures already in place and support required by the NRM project teams.
